New Volunteer!

Stepping on Out had a new volunteer working with them on Friday 24th February 2012 when MP Vince Cable joined them in their shop at Hampton Road Twickenham to offer his services. Mr Cable spent time printing wrapping paper alongside Stepping on Out's Pippa Lloyd, as pictured left. Click on the photo to see a larger version).

He also spent time talking to the rest of the group about their work at Stepping on Out and left with a selection of drawings of various places around the borough of Richmond which had been drawn by their talented artist John Harrison.

Christmas 2011

Our new range of Christmas cards designs for 2011 is now online and can be viewed at Christmas Cards 2011. Once again this year they can be ordered using an Online Christmas Card Order Form or a downloadable order form (Word or pdf). (Online ordering is currently only available for Christmas Cards).

Marie Curie Tea Party 2011

On 1st July we have another Tea party in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. Please come and support us if you can.

Let's Do It Award

Stepping on Out recently won a Let’s Do It Award - an award scheme which is a collaboration between the Richmond Informer and Barclays Bank. We won the volunteer award which means we have some volunteers from Barclays Bank come along to help at an event and bring £750 to spend on food, outings etc.

New Outlets

Our cards are now available at Announce It in Hampton, the United Reform Church in Twickenham, Wild About Florists in Heath Road, Twickenham and in the foyer of the Richmond Aid offices in Waldegrave Road, Teddington.

Photographic Venture

Over the last year or so, thanks to a grant which provided us with a digital camera each, we have been going out and about in the borough taking photos of local places of interest.

We have used these to make a local scene calendar and to produce a large range of photo cards. Click on the photo to see a larger version.
Places of interest which we are visiting on a monthly basis include the Isabella Plantation, Bushy Park, Hampton Court and Richmond Riverside. Do call into our shop to see these cards on Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
